Nicole Intervallo, CASAC Advanced Counselor

Nicole Intervallo joined Rego Park Counseling in July 2025 as Clinical Director of Addiction Services, where she oversees the OASAS and CORE programs across the practice’s Rego Park, Fresh Meadows, and Yonkers locations. She holds a CASAC Advanced Counselor credential and has worked in substance use treatment for 25 years, including 17 years supervising clinical staff.

Before Rego Park Counseling, Nicole directed treatment programs at Central Park Recovery and Innovative Health Systems, where she also served as a treatment consultant to the 9th Judicial District’s drug court teams. Her clinical work has focused on adults, adolescents involved with the court system, and families affected by substance use.

Nicole’s approach is to meet the patient where they are and help them get to where they want to be. At a first appointment, she focuses on understanding why someone is seeking help. Patients coming in through a court-ordered or DUI/DWI referral are asked to bring all required documentation to that first visit, and she works to keep treatment a judgment-free space for every patient, regardless of background.
